After a disappointing start to the season that saw them lose four matches in a row, MI finally found momentum by picking up their second win and climbing off the bottom of the points table in style.

A superb effort ended Sundar’s innings for 26 and left GT struggling at 54/4. The dismissal was a turning point, effectively ending any hopes of a comeback and swinging the momentum firmly in MI’s favour.

Tilak Varman’s century gives MI a brilliant win

Tilak changed gears in breathtaking fashion, smashing the next 23 balls for 82 runs to finish unbeaten on 101 off just 45 deliveries.
