After a disappointing start to the season that saw them lose four matches in a row, MI finally found momentum by picking up their second win and climbing off the bottom of the points table in style.

However, near the fence, Dhir showed extraordinary awareness and athleticism. Timing his jump to perfection, he took the ball out of the air with both hands, maintaining exceptional balance. What made this effort even more remarkable was his body control – keeping his feet inside the boundary pads as he completed the catch.
A superb effort ended Sundar’s innings for 26 and left GT struggling at 54/4. The dismissal was a turning point, effectively ending any hopes of a comeback and swinging the momentum firmly in MI’s favour.

Tilak Varman’s century gives MI a brilliant win

Tilak changed gears in breathtaking fashion, smashing the next 23 balls for 82 runs to finish unbeaten on 101 off just 45 deliveries.
