TaylorMade is at the top of the list when it comes to limited or special edition clubs and their new ones. The Shadowfall family continues to build on this notion. Let’s take a look at what makes the Shadowfall family unique and what pieces you might be able to grab for your bag.
Drivers and highways
All three TaylorMade’s Qi4D driver designs are available in the new Shadowfall collection. Whether you’re an LS, CORE or Max user, all the benefits of the fast, forgiving and responsive lineup are now covered in a glossy, dark look. If you were disappointed by the stock line’s matte crown, you’ll be thrilled by the high-gloss black finish of the new Shadowfall options. Personally, I’m in the glow of the team here; and these look great. of Freeway Qi4D Core it’s also available in the new Shadowfall collection with the same high-gloss black finish. It brings me back to the dash which feels very similar to if an old M2 fairway wood had been blacked out. The Qi4D Shadowfall family of drivers is available for $699.99. The LS and Core models are available in multiple lofts in both left and right hand drive, and the Max is available in a right hand configuration. The Shadowfall Qi4D Core Fairway is available retailing for $399.99 in 3W, 5W or 7W offerings. All metal woods include a special edition headstock.
P790 Irons and MG5 Wedges
TaylorMade’s the infamous P790 cuff get the Shadowfall treatment with a deep gloss black finish unlike anything they’ve produced before. Last year we were treated to Battleworn and many players loved it for its anti-glare properties and stunning appearance, and the new Shadowfall finish looks to take this even further. If ‘Battleworn’ was Captain America in the second Avengers film, ‘Shadowfall’ is Tom Hardy’s Venom. The Shadowfall P790 irons are available for $1,499.99 as a right-handed 4-PW set, complete with a Nippon Modus 105 Luxury Black shaft and Golf Pride Z Grip Plus 2 black grips.
of MG5 wedge features an anti-glare charcoal matte finish that allows the user to focus on their shot without distractions. Combined with the RAW face, they produce an extremely attractive look behind the ball and inspire confidence in any golfer looking for a new set of wedges that are sure to turn some eyes. The MG5 Charcoal wedges will retail for $199.99 and are available in both right and left hand drives in multiple lofts.
Soft goods
The Shadowfall Collection from TaylorMade includes several soft goods items as well for players who want to subtly replicate their favorite OEM. A t-shirt, hoodie, hat, towel and theirs 4-way signature bag AND Ball with 5 directions are available in the new collection. Each with a different dark theme with subtle logo placement. As a personal side note: TaylorMade hoodie are some of my favorites. I have a pair and they are among the most comfortable I own.
