The airport appearance came shortly after some of the most memorable moments of Kohli’s illustrious career. Royal Challengers beat Bengaluru Shubman Gill’s side Gujarat Titans (GT) Winning the IPL 2026 final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad by five wickets, they became the third franchise in the history of the tournament to win back-to-back IPL titles.
Kohli led a magnificent chase with an unbeaten 75 off 42 deliveries. His innings featured nine boundaries and three sixes as he led RCB to victory with remarkable composure under pressure. This performance earned him the Player of the Match award and capped off another outstanding IPL campaign.
