Menon also suggested that it is difficult to envisage a scenario where the batting superstar leaves RCB completely, even after his playing career is over. The RCB CEO also highlighted Kohli’s fitness levels, passion for the game and relentless competitiveness as reasons why he believes the veteran still has a lot to offer.
“RCB and Virat are different sides of the same coin. He has always been a constant factor for RCB. We have not seen him not being a part of RCB even though he has retired from cricket. We have to try to understand that. I mean, next three-four years he will play. I am sure he is fit, the hunger never dies. You bring energy to him this season, this season he had everything. Three-four years, no problem,” Menon CNBC He said while talking to TV18.

Kohli continues to shine on the big stage
Kohli proved once again why he remains one of the most influential players in world cricket in IPL 2026. The former India captain was the leading run-scorer for Royal Challengers Bengaluru with 675 runs in 16 matches at an average of 56.25 and the highest strike rate in the IPL with 165 runs.
His best moment happened in the final Shubman Gill’s side Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
