The 2026 US Open gets serious on Saturday, June 20, with the third round at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club. You can find the full US Open bracket schedules for Saturday’s third round at the bottom of this post after they are released Friday night.
Round 3 Times: What We Know
All players must finish Friday’s second round The match schedules for the 2026 US Open can be determined before Saturday. Once the second round is over, the cut will be madewith about half the field going home early. The survivors will continue to fight for the US Open trophy during the final two rounds.
We won’t know the official game times until after the final shot falls on Friday night, but there are a few things we do know. First, the players will be paired up for Saturday’s third round, where everyone will start in the first group.
Additionally, the third round matches will be based on leaderboard position, with the leaders occupying the final pairing and starting in the late afternoon. The players in bottom of the leaderboard after the cut, the first Saturday morning will be closed.
We can look to the past to get a better idea of ​​what this year’s start times will be. On Saturday at last year’s US Open, JJ Spaun AND Sam Burns faded away in the final pairing at 3:35 PM ET. The first pair of the day opened Saturday’s action at 9:12 a.m. ET.
You can expect Saturday’s 2026 US Open meeting times to fall similarly between 8:30am ET and 4pm ET.
