Former Red Bull F1 team principal Christian Horner has been tapped by Liberty Media to become MotoGP’s next chief executive, according to a report.
The British executive has been given his marching orders from the front-running Formula 1 team in the middle of the 2025 season, which has seen its most successful run in almost 20 years.
Horner’s last few months at Red Bull have been marred by controversy, with an increase in the F1 team’s output in the first half of 2025 reportedly the final straw for the company’s top brass.
