Bagnaia said: “First of all, it was great to see the final in Barcelona again. That move in the final was fantastic, brilliant, beautiful.
“It’s the approach that I think I took the wrong way last year. I thought I was going to give it all, but this year I think I’m going to give it all, a little bit more. At least, I’m trying in everything I do, and I think we’re struggling to make a good start because this bike still needs to be understood.”
“More than anything, we don’t seem to have a good base set-up that works really well everywhere, like Diggia has been able to get because it’s always going forward in every situation. We, on the other hand, are struggling a bit more.”
But even today we were able to make another small step here, and that’s important, it wasn’t easy because it required tire wear here, and we were able to reach the end of the sprint with good speed, which is positive.
“At home we are trying in every way, and we will continue with this, because I think our potential is higher than this and together we can win again.”
