Turki Alalshikh pushes Terence Crawford vs. Canelo Rematch

“What’s better than being Undisputed? Being Undisputed twice. What’s better than being Undisputed twice? Being Undisputed 3 times in three different weights.😁😁😁 now argue with your mom.”

Turki responded directly:

β€œWe want the rematch with Canelo 😎 maybe it’s a chance to be 4πŸ˜‡πŸ¦πŸ₯Šβ€

The exchange comes months after Crawford beat Canelo by unanimous decision in September 2025 to become undisputed at super middleweight. The win made him the first fighter to achieve undisputed status in three separate weight classes.

Turki’s post drives home a clear idea: a rematch would give Crawford a chance to go one step further and try to become a four-time undisputed champion.

The complication is Crawford’s status. After the Canelo win, he indicated he was stepping away from the sport, leaving his future unclear. No official return has been confirmed.

Canelo also has his own direction to sort out at 168, with other opponents in play and no second fight with Crawford formally announced.

Still, Turki’s involvement is a sign that the Canelo-Crawford rematch could happen. His Riad Season events have driven the biggest fights in the sport over the past two years, and his public interest often turns into actual negotiations.

Canelo has already confirmed his return for September 12, 2026 in Riyadh. While his trainer, Eddy Reynoso, has floated names like Christian Mbilli, these are “safe” fights. They don’t generate the $100M+ worldwide buzz that a Crawford rematch does.

Canelo is a proud fighter. The sting of that unanimous decision loss in 2025 is not something he will want to leave on his record forever.
