OSLO (NOR, June 10). Despite the cold weather and winds, the crowds at the Bislett Stadion saw great performances with three world leaders and one match record at the Oslo Bislett Games / Wanda Diamond League. Hailu of Frewein in 3000 m (8:24.22), Cooper Lutkenhaus in 800 m (1:42.08), and Adisu Yihine In the distance of 5000 m (12:47.62) secured the world leaders. Bislett also had thrilling finishes in the Dream Mile and the men’s 800m and 5000m, as well as Henriette Yager’s home win in the 400m (49.52). 3000 m. Hailu of Frewein In Rome, the 5000m was reversed, winning in a world leading time of 8:24.22 (just 0.02 off the meet record) ahead of Likina Amebao (8:25.15), Ethiopia’s Senayet Getachewi (8:25.85) and Havi Abera (8:27.1) and fourth, 5th and 4th: 8.1 ranks. (8:27.67) as the best European.
400 m hurdles. Third straight Diamond League win Emma Zapletalova In 53.13 from Rushelle Clayton (53.50) and world silver medalist Jasmine Jones (54.09).
Triple jump. of Cuba Davislade Velasco continued her recent good form with a wind-aided winning jump of 14.85m (2.3) to add to her regular 14.76 (0.4), while Senegal’s Sally Sarr improved her PB to 14.75m (0.9) in second. World champion Leyannis Perez Hernandez was only third with 14.60m (2.2), also 14.51 (0.0).
Shooting. Minutes of the meeting Chase Jackson 20.74 m in the first round for victory over world champion Jessica Schilder (20.11 m).
Javelin. Another big win for China! Yan Ziyi, who threw 67.11m in her diamond league debut on European soil over Sigrid Borge (61.92).

200 m. Olympic champion Lecile Tebogo won in a season’s best 19.84 (0.2) by a clear margin over Sinesifo Dambile (20.12) despite easing up in the final 20m. Gout Gout was sixth in his Diamond League debut in 20.60
800 m. What a race! Cooper Lutkenhaus Reigning World and Olympic champion Emmanuel Vagnoni made a late dive for the line, 1:42.08 to 1:42.09, and the US U20R for the 17-year-old (also 2nd best ever U20). Norway’s Tobias Grønstad was fourth at home in a major PB of 1:43.61.
Dream Mile: TImoti Cheruiyot edged Olympic bronze medalist Jared Nguuse with two athletes on the line for his first Diamond League win since 2021.
5000 m. of Ethiopia Adisu Yihune ran a world lead and PB of 12:47.62 in a race of brilliant depth. Bahrain’s Birhanu Ballyu quickly finished second in an Asian record time of 12:47.73 and Andreas Almgren third in 12:48.61 EL. Parker Wolfe was USA’s best in fourth place with a PB of 12:49.45, while Australia’s Ky Robinson set an ocean record of 12:50.82 in eighth place.
400 m hurdles. Alison dos Santos 2026 improved to 3-0 over Karsten Warholm – 46.89 to 47.40 in the final race of the night in cold weather.
Pole vault. Back-to-back wins in the Diamond League Curtis Marshall with 5.82 m. Home favorite S:Ondre Guttormsen Cleared 5.72m to finish second on countback. Emmanuel Caralis had to settle for sixth at 5.62 m.
Triple jump. Jordan Scott Jcleared 17.66m (2.6) in the third round, also 16.96 (-1.8) to fall behind Andy Diaz, who jumped 17.59m (0.0) in the first round. Algeria’s Yasser Tricky improved to 17.43m (2.4) in the fifth round and finished sixth with 17.32 (1.0).
