Teofimo Lopez publicly questioned Dana White after a video from the BrandRisk event at UFC Apex circulated online showing Dana walking past him at the commentary desk without any visible greeting or acknowledgment.
The clip spread across social media this week and prompted a response from Teofimo, who used the moment to question how combat sports champions are treated.
It shows how much they care about our fighters/champions!
Don’t tell me it’s business, nothing personal, when our business is personal.Parents! Is this what you’re supposed to be okay with if this happened to your son or daughter? @Goldenglovesorg @USABoxing @Olympics https://t.co/1KWOmHrgCL

The video shows White and UFC executive Hunter Campbell making their way through the venue as Lopez sits in the commentary position. White appears to glance at Teofimo before continuing to his seat without stopping.
The exchange quickly became a talking point online, with fans debating whether the moment was an intentional put-down or simply a byproduct of the hectic atmosphere surrounding the celebrity-driven event.
Teofimo previously posted positively about the BrandRisk show, calling it an unforgettable night. However, his response to the clip turned a brief interaction into a wider discussion about respect and recognition for fighters.
The timing is notable because Lopez’s name has come up repeatedly in conversations about TKO’s planned Zuffa Boxing venture. Teofimo has spoken about the project in the past while also criticizing the traditional championship belt system in boxing.
Neither White nor Campbell publicly responded to Teofimo’s comments.
