Rayo Vallecano cruised to a dramatic 1-0 win over Strasbourg in the UEFA Europa Conference League final at the Stade de la Meinau, with a first-half goal from Alemão proving decisive despite a missed penalty.
Rayo Vallecano arrived in Strasbourg looking for their first European trophy. The Spanish team had traveled a difficult path through the competition. Strasbourg hosted the final, hoping to claim continental glory on home soil.
