Speaking to DAZN (via Sports world) After the Hungarian race, Pedro Acosta explained how difficult it is to perform on a race weekend with KTM’s inconsistencies.

“Hopefully, the day will come when I can go out twice, and the bike will feel the same, it’s true that we are doing what I lacked last season and we are having a good season.
“We’ve been able to achieve that consistency by consistently being in the top five and with few DNFs, only in the long race at Barcelona with Ogura. I’ve matured a lot as a rider since then.
“It’s hard to understand why we were doing so well yesterday and today, when we went out on the same bike, everything seemed different, and why the feeling of competence was different.
“I’ll go fast in the race, but I’ll spend three or four laps to find out where the bike’s limits are and see where I can push. We need to make a more stable bike so we can focus on riding.”
