Pedro Acosta was concerned after witnessing Marc Marquez’s horrific crash at the French Grand Prix.

Pedro Acosta feared for Marc Marquez after the ‘stranger’ French Sprint crash

Talking to the Spanish outlet Motosan After the sprint, Pedro Acosta revealed his quick reaction to the crash and how scared he was for Marc Marquez.

Acosta described the similarities between Marquez’s crash and his previous crashes and the physical and psychological damage they caused.

“I saw the crash when I was riding on the replay, and I was scared. It was really bad. I had a few guys with KTMs like last year in Hungary or Australia.

“They’re crashes. Even though they happened to me, a year later, I can’t really explain why they happened. It’s hard to understand. I hope Mark is okay because it was a strange and very hard impact.

For a rider like Marquez to have back-to-back crashes over the weekend like he did, there has to be a level of frustration he can’t understand.
