Julien Alfred runs 21.86 200m WL (and 10.93) at Texas Invitational


Julien Alfred ran 21.86 on April 30th. The next day he ran 10.93. Looks like the Olympic champion is pretty fit in 2026 and ready to fly. Looking forward to racing Julien in 2026.

AUSTIN (USA, April 30). Saint Lucia star and Olympic 100m champion Julien Alfred won the 200m at the Texas Invitational with a WL of 21.86 (+0.5) to tie his second best ever. It’s also the second-fastest in a season ever before May. Second U20 Elise Cooper 22.65. Ireland’s record holder Rashidat Adeleke won the other event with 22.86 (+0.8). Michael Norman, the 400m world champion from 2022, ran his first individual race since the Paris Olympics and won the 200m in 20.43 (+0.7). Cody Blackwood clocked 49.26 in the 400m hurdles and Canada’s Annika Newell in the 450 pole vault.
