I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, The Trouper Jones Heritage may be the most beautiful golf bag ever made. If that’s too hard for you, fine. However, it’s pretty much indisputable that this is the best-looking bag of 2026, and it’s not particularly close. In a way, it has become even prettier, and that’s a problem for the rest of the premium bag market.
As you know, I am a stickler for a green golf bag and am absolutely in awe of my Evergreen Heritage Trouper. That said, when Jones announced Trouper Heritage EcruI couldn’t believe how good it looked, and I might actually like it better than the green. To me, that means LOT. When it comes to my golf bag, I will almost always choose green. Those days may be over.
Functionally, Trouper Heritage Ecru is the same as original Jones Trouper and is made from the same vegan leather as the other Heritage colors. What sets the Ecru bag apart, however, is how good it looks. This bag goes completely neutral and leans heavily on earth tones, making it a natural and elegant fit on any course. Like his brothers, Trouper Heritage Ecru is a love letter to classic golf, but crafted with modern technology and functionality for today’s golfer.
We’re only a few months into golf season here in the Northeast, but so far, I’m in love with my Legacy Trouper. I am constantly impressed with how good this bag looks and Ecru bag shows that Jones can take things to an even higher level. Perhaps surprisingly, the Evergreen color is already sold out, and as good as Ecru looks, I don’t expect this to last long.
