Competition between them Gujarat Titans (GT) and Mumbai Indians (MI) The two giants who reached the firing point on Monday clashed in the 30th match IPL 2026. Hardik Pandya mocks Shubman Gill’s new beard style during the toss
Cricket fans were treated to Captain-on-Captain banter before the first ball was bowled. As both leaders took to the field for the toss, all eyes were on Gill, who debuted his new bearded look. The GT skipper recently missed an important match for his team due to a neck spasm. His return to the squad has been marked not only by his fitness, but also by a rugged aesthetic that has not eluded his former teammate Pandya.
In a moment that went viral on social media, Pandya was seen teasing Gill about her grooming choices. The Mumbai Indians captain was caught on camera twirling his beard and smirking as he gestured to Gill’s face. The interaction seemed to be a mix of “complimenting” the new look while simultaneously pulling Gill’s leg about the transformation. Gill, known for his calm demeanor, took his ribbing in stride, though his pre-match humor did little to soften the blow of what was expected on the pitch.
