Sevilla secured a dramatic 2-1 win over Espanyol at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán, with substitute Akor Adams scoring a stoppage-time goal to seal three crucial points in their fight against relegation.
Both teams entered this League clash struggling near the bottom of the table. Sevilla ranked 17th with 37 points from 34 games, while Espanyol ranked 13th with 39 points. The hosts needed a win to keep their survival hopes alive in what promised to be a tense affair.
