
Gujarat Titans (GT) had a thrilling five-wicket victory over Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) In the 25th match Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 At the Narendra Modi Stadium, he successfully chased down a competitive target of 181 with two balls to spare. Shubman Gill chases anchors with authority
In reply, Gujarat Titans started confidently, with Sai Sudharsan providing the early momentum before departing for 22. From there, Gill took charge of the innings, playing the captain’s batting under pressure. His 86 off 50, which included eight fours and four sixes, laid the foundation for a successful chase.
If Buttler added valuable support with a rapid-fire 25, ensuring the required run rate remained under control. Despite a short swing in the middle overs where GT lost a couple of wickets in a row, Glenn Phillips and Washington Sundar made sure there was no major collapse.

They get upset late but GT keeps his composure
Kolkata Knight Riders tried to get back into the race Varun Chakrabortyhe took two wickets and applied pressure in the middle overs. Sunil Narine bowled economically as well, but lack of breakthroughs at crucial moments hurt KKR.
Rahul Tewatia and Shah Rukh Khan Gujarat ended proceedings quietly for the Titans, taking the team to 181 for 5 in 19.4 overs. Despite Ramandeep Singh’s late wicket, the target managed to reach the hosts.
