If there is a rule to live with me golf shoesit’s convenience is king. If I can’t get a golf shoe that fits right, I won’t bother with it.
First time I tried a pair True Linkswear Antigravity Golf ShoesI knew I wouldn’t have to worry about that. I also knew that these would probably be the shoes I would wear for the rest of the year.
I don’t know how else to describe how comfortable these shoes are, other than to tell you that when I first stepped into them, I could hardly feel my foot hit the ground. The name Antigravity was earned. I’ve been wearing the Antigravity for about a month now and it’s hard to imagine any shoe I’ve found more comfortable. They have also held up well in competition.
Here is my review of the shoe, looking at five factors: stability, traction, elements, style and, most importantly for the Antigravity, comfort/fit.
Comfort/Fit
What makes Antigravity so special is the use of PEBAX superfoam. The material is most commonly associated with long-distance running shoes and was found to produce improved energy returns. Ping has used the same material in golf, using PEBAX in its inserts Scottsdale AND Scottsdale TEC firing line to produce a soft and responsive feel thanks to energy return.
Just as runners can use the extra boost in a marathon, golfers can use the extra boost when walking a golf course. A little extra fluid in the tank can mean a lot on the 17th hole – or even the 35th – when your score is on the line.
Now, I know you might be thinking that with such a soft foam used for the midsole, your foot might feel like it’s moving around. I haven’t felt this at all, and I’ll break this down more when we get to the stability section, but I’ve been surprised at how well my feet are protected without feeling like they’re moving.
I also like a nice wide toe box, and the Antigravity delivers with plenty of wiggle room, but not too much for my feet to wiggle. For reference, I usually wear a size 11 shoe (occasionally, but rarely a 10.5), and this was true to size for the Antigravity.
Did I mention the shoes also only weigh 10.5 ounces?

STABILITy
For a shoe that is marketed and designed for maximum comfort, I was really impressed with the lateral stability it offered.
When I first saw and received these shoes, I expected them to be a shoe that I would use for fast nine-hole rounds, on the range, or when I needed to stretch 36 holes! But I quickly got the impression that these were for all types of golf.
elements
As I wrote in my last shoe review for True PNWProof adhesiveI will not wear any shoes that are not waterproof. You just never know what you might face on a golf course, even if the forecast isn’t just for sunshine, and there’s no quicker way to ruin a round than wet feet.
Thankfully, I haven’t had any problems with wet feet from Antigravities. The upper shell is a ripstop material that is laminated with TPU material for a waterproof seal. I haven’t had any breathing problems, which is no surprise the real brand. These shoes come with a one-year waterproof warranty.
STYLE
In the initial release – the first drop sold out in 72 hours and just restocked – the True has four colorways, which I think give this shoe some great options. The design really fits that modern, functional golf shoe look while still being clean enough to match any outfit you might want to wear.
I loved the Sunset color but went with Glacier Navy for my first pair. True has already made a limited edition pair of these green and gold accented, all-white shoes called the Antigravity+ for the Masters that turned out phenomenal.

If there’s one thing that could be better about Antigravities, I think it’s the standard tread pattern. I will point out that I have had no serious problems with traction on the golf course and these shoes are already being worn by true ambassador Joel Dahmen on the PGA Tour. So if they’re good enough for a Tour player, they’re probably good enough for anyone.
That said, the Antigravity+ LEs have an aggressive studless TPU outsole from True’s OG3 shoe, which I much prefer. It looks like there’s more where this came from as True teased more variations with an Antigravity Pro and Antigravity Leather on their Instagram.
GENUINE Antigravity Men’s Spikeless Golf Shoes
The Antigravity was built to challenge expectations of what a modern golf shoe can be. Powered by our all-new Pebax Superfoam midsole, it offers lightweight cushioning, explosive rebound and long-lasting energy return for a truly gravity-defying ride. A recycled ripstop upper keeps things breathable and durable, backed by a one-year waterproof warranty to ensure durable protection in any condition. Finished with a versatile outsole that transitions seamlessly from casual to everyday wear, it’s a shoe that performs at a high level on the course and because it feels so good, you won’t want to take it off when you leave. A shoe. Zero limits.
end
I thought that True antigravity would be a pony shoe with a gimmick. Sure, they’d be comfortable, but could they be versatile and durable enough for competitive golf?
Turns out I want to wear them every time I go to the course now and can’t wait for more styles to be released.
Real is making the Antigravity their flagship shoe for 2026 and beyond, and for good reason. If you’re in the market for new golf shoes, you can’t get more comfortable than the True Antigravity.
