American Rossi Moore has started the FIM MotoJunior Championship.

Rossi Attila Moor will start his 2026 Moto2 European Championship season this weekend in Barcelona.

The Hungarian-American rider will compete in the FIM MotoJunior World Championship event on the weekend of May 22–24 at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

The season opener will be an important professional test for Rossi. The Barcelona circuit is fast, technical and physically demanding, where bike position, handling conditions, weather and race speed all play a crucial role.

Rossi’s lap times in the official Jerez tests gave the team positive impressions, but test results should always be a starting point and not a final measure. Every track is different, every situation is different, and a race weekend always brings new tasks for the driver and technical staff.

Barcelona’s schedule begins on Friday with two free practice sessions, followed by Saturday’s practice and qualifying sessions. On Sunday, the Moto2 field will participate in two races, each consisting of 15 rounds.

One of the key innovations for Rossi this season is that he is working with a highly trained technical staff who have been preparing the bike and professional weekend structure since the start of the season. The goal is to build a competitive base through continuous development and stable, professional work.

Rossi Attila Moor: “Jerez was a positive test for us, but Barcelona is a completely new weekend and a completely new challenge. In Moto 2, every track is different, so we have to work step by step from Friday. With the technical team, we will focus on preparing the most competitive bike possible. As always, I will give 110%, then we will see the weekend.”

Rossi enters Barcelona motivated, focused and ready to compete.
