Just when I thought FootJoy’s Premiere Series Marquis couldn’t get any better.

Aime Leon Dore (ALD) and FootJoy just rekindled their partnership from last year. And the fruits of their cooperative labor are very sweet.
So sweet, in fact, that I might as well just call it “the coolest golf shoe of the year” and end the article right there.
But for those of you whose interest is piqued, let’s dive in.
If you’re reading this, you probably don’t know much about ALD. I wouldn’t call (you) MyGolfSpy’s audience old fashioned, but I certainly wouldn’t call them “trendy” either. ALD is a lifestyle brand based in NYC and has been quietly putting out cool stuff (including great golf stuff) for a while.
