Alan Chaves vs. Justin Pauldo Fight Eyed as Diego Pacheco card could move to August

The development comes as questions remain about the date of the upcoming Diego Pacheco card in Los Angeles. Sabatini reported that Chaves was expected to appear on the July 18 event, although the card could be pushed back to August if scheduling changes are made.

According to Sabatini, the situation remains fluid, and the original July date could still remain in place if the issues are resolved.

X. “Chaves was supposed to be on the Diego Pacheco card on July 18th in Los Angeles, but that event may undergo a date change, possibly to August. Although they may sort it out, and there will be no changes.”

A bout with Pauldo would represent another important step for Chaves after his recent arrival on the American scene. The hard-hitting Argentine made his debut in Las Vegas on April 25, scoring a knockout victory over Miguel Madueño.

Chaves signed with Matchroom earlier this year and compiled a 22-0 record with 19 knockouts. The 27-year-old has emerged as one of Argentina’s top lightweight contenders and is looking to build on the momentum of his win over Madueño.

So far, no fight has been officially announced, but Sabatini’s report suggests that Chaves and Pauldo could be headed for a showdown later this year, while the date of the Diego Pacheco card remains uncertain.
