GTS title driversPopularity seems to grow every week on the PGA Tour, and now the hottest driver in golf has his first PGA Tour win.
JT Poston Memorial win DID with the new GTS3 driverwhich was released on the PGA Tour in March at the Houston Open and became available to the public in mid-May.
Poston added the driver at the Valero Texas Open, the second week it was available to Tour pros, and has carried it in the bag since the Truist Championship last month.
Over the past three months, the GTS line has quickly established itself as one of the most played drivers on the PGA Tour with more than 70 players bagging it and at least 65 now playing one.
At the Memorial, 18 players in the 72-player field fielded a GTS driver, which was more than the total number of drivers from any other brand (16). Poston’s win also came the same week he was ranked No. 3 in the world Cameron Young added GTS3 and the World. 4 and gearless agent Matt Fitzpatrick added GTS2.

Poston’s GTS3 is set to the stock axle figure, A1, and the neutral track position ahead of the CG, but the GTS platform allows for multiple CG changes through the dual weighting system. Titleist was able to move Cameron Young from his 11-degree GT3 head and to a 10-degree GTS3 head because they could move the CG back while adding weight to the rear end. GT3 didn’t have that option.
While Poston’s win was the first for GTS drivers, it continues a great run for Titleist as nine winners since March 9 have sported a Titleist driver. All but one of them were GT3s until Poston’s GTS3 win.
