Jack Miller says the start of the 2026 MotoGP campaign has been like ‘pre-season’ for Yamaha. Miller is the only rider to go without a point in every race so far.
Pramak Teammate Torak Razgatlioglu has managed just one, while factory rider Alex Rins has three. Fabio Quatararo leads the way in 11th, but this is only good enough for 16th in the championship.

“We’ve had a good pre-season at this point and that’s about it,” Miller said. “It’s very much in the development stage, but at the same time, when we’re faced with situations (like yesterday), we try harder.”
“Unfortunately, I was a little optimistic with my knee, trying to stay there as long as you can. We took a step this weekend. We had three weeks off and I believe we took a step.
“Obviously we need more but with a bike in development like this it’s par for the course.”

Quatararo seems very disappointed After finishing 14th about Yamaha. He said the group is not making any progress.
However, Miller said he had a ‘decent’ base at Pramac ahead of the French Grand Prix after testing some new components. He set a 1:37.008 to move up to 17th fastest, just shy of his best time of the race weekend.
“Busy Monday,” Miller wrote Instagram. “I’ve tried a few new tests, come back at the weekend and make sure we’re going in the right direction.
“It’s good to do it without the pressure of racing and just focus on getting everything right. The base is in a good place, now it’s just building from there.”
