Fury Posts Wilder Draw Clip, Ignore KO Knockdown Debate

Tyson Fury posted a short clip of himself today to mark the anniversary of his first fight against ‘The Bronze Bomber’ Deontay Wilder from 1st December 2018.

Saved by the Count?

There wasn’t much to celebrate as it was a 12-round draw. For Fury it was a victory in a way as he got a lucky break in the 12th round. It was a fight that many fans believed Fury was saved by referee Jack Reiss, who surprisingly counted him out after he was knocked unconscious by a right-left combination from Deontay in round 12.

The image of Reiss standing over an unconscious Fury giving a score was bizarre. You don’t see anything like that in battles anymore. Some boxing fans felt that Tyson got special treatment by getting a count while he was knocked out. The way I see it, that fight should have been stopped on the spot, and a medical team rushed into the ring.

“When you’re as accomplished as I am, there are always anniversaries. So, today, seven years since me and the great ‘Bronze’ doser fought in Los Angeles, California,” said Tyson Fury. Xwho today celebrates the anniversary of his first fight with Deontay Wilder in 2018.

“I have a picture of us doing a little dance. There we are, me and Deontay Wilder, on December 1st, 2018. Oh, how time flies. Happy anniversary to me.”

Fury can’t let go

It is a continuation of the retired former two-time heavyweight champion, Fury, as he nostalgically replays the events of his career. At 37, ‘The Gypsy King’ seems to be living in the past, as a much older person would.

Last week, Fury posted a video clip celebrating the 10-year anniversary of his victory over Wladimir Klitschko on November 28, 2015 in Dusseldorf. He made a big production about the victory and thanked Wladimir for paving the way for him to become a rich multi-millionaire.
