Manchester United crashed against a 4-3 defeat away from Brentford at the Premier League before and the Ruben Amorim team team has reduced.
The red devils will be disappointed with their performance and the result.
It has been a disastrous campaign of the Premier League for them and the defeat today leaves them 15th at the League table. For a club in its stature, it will be a devastating blow.
UEFA Europa League is still the only salvation of Manchester United this season and it will be interesting to see if they can win the tournament. They have reached the semifinals of the competition.
Ruben Amorim mistaken his team
Meanwhile, BBC Pundit Francis Benali has stated that Manchester United was always looking for problems against Brentford with the team’s selection today. Amorim decided to rest several players against the bees and his decision to rely on the youth was reduced.
Manchester United manager probably wanted to rest his key players ahead of a European semifinals vital, But that has cost him the game.
Said Benali to BBC: “With the team that put Ruben Amorim: you know clearly their priorities. Entering a game in a field like Brentford with the way they are in, almost asking for problems.”
Players like Tyler Fredricson, Harry AMASS and Chido Obi received opportunities against Branford and did not achieve their mark. There is no doubt that they are talented players with bright future, but they are simply not ready to start at the Premier League.
Can Man United win the Europa League?
It is left to see if Manchester United can again bounce back in the remaining parties of the campaign. They will have to do it well at UEFA Europa League and win the tournament if they want to finish the season with some positivity.
They have a quality team at their disposal and could win the European tournament if they manage to act at a high level.
