Barcelona coach Hansi Flick believes that Raphinha “could have a shot” by winning this year’s Golden Ballon.
Mohamed Salah, Vinicius Junior and Kylian Mbappe are among the first favorites to win the most prestigious individual award for world football in 2025, but Raphinha has appeared as a surprise but valid contestant due to its phenomenal form for Barcelona.
The Brazilian end, which even captured the team earlier this season when Ronald Araujo and Frenkie de Jong were still left out, scored 25 goals and accumulated 18 attendances (43 direct direct implications) in 40 appearances in all competitions.
And yet, Barcelona would have replaced Raphinha in a heartbeat last summer if his delicate finance had Allowed them to sign the star of the Euro 2024 Nico Williams.
“Of course, if it acts well this season, it could have a shot,” said Flick this week.
“It always contributes immensely and, if we look at the goals he has set, show his determination. You can see how he is focused. I am satisfied with his level of play.”
Among the biggest performances of Raphinha this season have been a goal and have helped in a 4-0 demolition of Real Madrid in the October Clasico, two more goals and an assistance on Barça’s fiercest rivals in the Clue Super Cup final and a Hat in the Champions League against Bayern Munich.
