Major League Baseball’s offseason has not disappointed this year as a loaded free agent class disperses to new teams ahead of the 2025 season.
While the New York Yankees lost out on running back Juan Soto, the top free agent in this year’s class, after he opted to sign with the New York Mets, there is a question mark over another 2024 Yankees player.
Yankees second baseman Gleyber Torres remains unsigned through the 2025 season, and it’s unclear where he might end up.
According to MLB Network on Channel X, fans are wondering where the longtime Yankee will end up in 2025.

A wide range of speculation has been given by MLB fans, including Torres simply returning to the Yankees or the Chicago Cubs, Seattle Mariners, Washington Nationals or Oakland Athletics.
Torres entered the league in 2018 with the Yankees and has played all seven seasons of his MLB career with the team.
In 2024, Torres played in 154 games where he batted .257 with 15 home runs, 63 RBI and a .709 OPS.
While Torres saw his power numbers dip slightly in 2024 with just 15 home runs, he still had a productive year with 151 hits, 80 runs and a .330 on-base percentage mostly out of the leadoff spot.
The two-time All-Star will be a name to watch as the offseason progresses to see if he performs well enough for the Yankees to bring him back or if he ends up elsewhere.
