Sunil Gavaskar said on Star Sports, “This game can come back and bite you in the back and bite you very hard. I think, you know, we’ve seen a bit of an exchange where he’s talking to a bowler like Mitchell Starc. I think he had something to say to Nathan Lyon in the innings of that century.

I would only like to see some tweaking in the scoring areas of Yashasvi Jaiswal: Matthew Hayden
Matthew Hayden during the same discussion on Star Sports said: “He is a quality player but I would like to see some tweaking in Jaiswal’s scoring areas. Each of these dismissals, three of them, was very different. I mean he was going very hard at the ball outside off stump. And then he thought the ball was sliding down the leg side at LBW. And then he… But I think the thing is, he’s had both of the last two layoffs.”
The big Australian then explained: “One in the air and then a switch to the pads. Maybe sometimes it happens when you raise your hands like that. I’m filming this right now. But if you can think in your own mind, well, well, maybe that’s my arm areas. Right now I think Jaiswal is thinking, well, that’s my arm’s length.
In the end, Hayden believes Jaiswal needs to narrow his focus a bit and start thinking about hitting it down the ground instead of hitting that angle like a left-hander. He signed off by saying he could always flip his hands if he couldn’t quite hit the ground.
