Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has given the perfect response to Marcus Rashford by hinting that he wants to leave Old Trafford.
The Portuguese tactician has had a difficult start at Man Utd, inheriting a struggling squad from Erik ten Hag, and now has to deal with a star name in Rashford basically confirming he wants out.

Still, Amorim has dealt well with questions about Rashford, saying he would like the England international to stay, while challenging him to reclaim his place in the team by performing at his best in training.

Amorim certainly faces a huge challenge to get the best out of Rashford again, but it might not be something we should rule out just yet.
The 27-year-old is, after all, a world-class talent on his day, and was on fire in that 2022/23 campaign before last season’s surprise slump that has stretched to to this one

Rashford has made it clear that he sees his future away from Unitedhaving been cited by Henry Winter yesterday he said he felt it was time for a change.
“For me personally, I’m ready for a new challenge and the next steps,” Rashford said.
“When I leave, there will be no hard feelings.” You will have no negative comments from me about Man United. This is me as a person. I will always be a red.
“If I know that a situation is already bad, I will not make it worse. I’ve seen other players leave in the past and I don’t want to be that person. When it comes out I will make a statement and it will be mine.”
It is imagined that numerous top-flight clubs will now be on the lookout for Rashford, who may just need a new club and environment to help him rediscover his best form.
