Major League Baseball got the biggest news of the offseason as top free agent Juan Soto signed a 15-year, $765 million contract with the New York Mets.
Soto’s long-awaited decision has finally been made, as the superstar will remain in New York State, but will be traded from the New York Yankees to the Mets.
After the Mets’ Cinderella run of the postseason in 2024 to the National League Championship, the team has set its sights on the 2025 World Series.
With the addition of Soto, the Mets could have one of the most dangerous offenses in all of baseball next season.
According to B/R Walk-Off’s ‘X’, the Mets’ potential lineup has been released.

Mets fans weren’t too impressed with the projected lineup, as they took to social media to express their reactions.

While many would expect Mets fans to be excited about the addition of Soto, the reactions to the projected 2025 lineup say otherwise.
Many fans expect the Mets to make more moves and believe the 2025 lineup won’t look like this.
Other fans point out that the roster is loaded and good enough to make the postseason, but not win the world championship.
While Mets fans may not like the current draft lineup, there is still plenty of talent on the table for the Mets to explore this offseason.
The Mets will be looking to make their first World Series appearance since 2015 and win their first title since 1986.
