Shohei Ohtani Reveals Honest Thoughts About Dodger Parade

The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the New York Yankees in Game 5 of the World Series to win their eighth championship in franchise history.

The Dodgers’ 7-6 victory included a five-run comeback to secure the title.

The celebration parade took place in Los Angeles, and superstar Shohei Ohtani shared his thoughts on the event.

“I’m completely overwhelmed by the amount of fans here, it’s unbelievable,” Ohtani said via X’s MLB.

Ohtani had an incredible first season with the Dodgers, capping it off with a World Series title.

In the regular season, Ohtani hit .310 with 54 home runs, 130 RBI, 59 stolen bases and a 1.036 OPS.

He made Major League Baseball history by becoming the first player to hit 50 home runs and steal 50 bases in the same season.

Ohtani struggled in the World Series with two hits in 19 at-bats, but the Dodgers were still able to take the series.

The Dodgers will try to enjoy their holiday while preparing for their title defense in 2025.

Ohtani has not been able to pitch at all for the Dodgers in 2024, and it will be interesting to see what the team decides to do in that area if he is fully healthy.

The likely National League MVP will remain with the Dodgers for the foreseeable future, and he’ll look to win another ring in 2025.
