2026 CJ Cup Byron Nelson Thursday Pool Times: Round 1 Pools

The 2026 CJ Byron Nelson Cup begins on Thursday, May 21, with the opening round at TPC Craig Ranch in Texas. At the bottom of this post, you can find the complete CJ Cup Byron Nelson schedules for Thursday’s first round.

Separate training time for round 1

Jordan Spieth Byron Nelson hopes to return to the winner’s circle for the first time in four years at this week’s CJ Cup. It must help that the host course is close to his home in Dallas, Texas.

Spieth has racked up seven top-25s this season to reach 41st FedEx Cup Standings and the 47th in Official World Golf Ranking. But despite two T11 finishes and a T12 at the Masters, he has yet to record a top 10.

To win this week, he will have to beat another famous Texan, the world No. 1 Scottie Schefflerwho is the reigning champion and hungry for a repeat after being denied one at last week’s PGA Championship.

Spieth will tee off for the opening round at 1:43 PM ET together Chris Kirk AND Im Sungjae.
