Fans would like to see Dmitri Bisvol going up to Cruiserweight and challenging the IBF champion Jai Opetaia for his belt after his victory over the undisputed super -middleweight champion Artur Betterur Betterbiev in their Rematch last Saturday night.
Opetaia is likely to welcome a battle against BiVol because he talks about him a lot and likes his technical skills. It would take a lot of bravery of biblical to absorb with 25 pounds in weight, but it is similar to what Canelo Alvarez handled when he moved up to 175 and fought him in 2022.
Biblical promoters at Matchroom Boxing said fans and the media that he was 2-0 against Betterbiev because they felt he had earned a win in the first fight last October. If they really believe it, it means that there are no more mountains to climb at 175. Biblical can arrive just as well to Cruiserweight to challenge the King of the Division, Opetaia (27-0, 21 COs).
They do not want Biblical (24-1, 12 COs) to do so, because the risk of being knocked out by Opetaia would be too high. Also, promoters Eddie Hearn and Frank Smith Hope, Hope Canelo Alvarez, will want to fight him in a rematch. It is not very likely, but they hope it will happen.
If Biblical does not fight against Betterbiev in a trilogy match and does not get the Canelo battle, it is the best sense to move to Cruiserweight for a fight against Opetaia. Let’s see if the movement of Biblical, fast combinations and clinic will work for him against Jai. There is not as much of a difference in size between them.

The trilogy with better biev will amount to whether Turki Alalshikh wants to pursue it. He must be aware that fans are not so interested in seeing a third battle between them. They want something else.
