Wyndham Clark’s first PGA Tour win in two years it’s also his first as a gearless agent.
Clark’s endorsement deal with Titleist ended at the end of 2025, and all season he has embraced the freedom of his new equipment. No changes have been more widespread than those made to the driver and his sportsman.
The 2023 US Open champion began the season using four different drivers in his first five events, but eventually settled on TaylorMade Qi4D. He actually made a driver change this week, changing the lie angle and switching to a new, unreleased Project X Titan Yellow shaft.
Clark first settled Qi4Dthen with the Titan Black spindle, thanks to the increased stability of the spin, especially not over-spinning and causing the right error. Still, Clark wanted to call on his driver to favor a touch more accuracy this week, even if it meant sacrificing some distance.
TaylorMade found an answer with the new Titan Yellow and slightly fairer putter.
“He was probably spinning 100-200 RPM more than he would have liked, but with the stability of the Qi4D head at that pitch angle it creates more accuracy which is what he was looking for,” said TaylorMade Tour representative Adrian Rietveld. “I was glad he played that because he’s pretty long with his ball speed and if he can get more fairways, he doesn’t need the distance.”
He won by four strokes off the tee at TPC Craig Ranch, good for 6th in the field. It’s the first win without a contract for the Qi4D driver.
Clark also sports a Qi4D Tour 3-wood, which he added to his bag at the Masters, that is built to match the original specs of his driver.
Once settled into the top of the bag, Clark cycled through several different posts before landing on Ping’s Scottsdale TEC Ally Blue The beginning. Clark switched to Ally Blue at the Houston Open next showing up at the Players Championship with a putter he bought in the pro shop of his hometown club.
But he loved the five finger scales hanging from his finger The beginning of Ally Blue, which helped counter his low-torque thruster left error. He switched to an offset version in the RBC Heritage and was positive in Stokes Gained: Putting in his first two events with it.
He led the field this week in hitting 12.5 more shots on the green.

SHAPE FOR SPEED The re-engineered head profile increases ball speed thanks to improved aerodynamics developed through advanced simulations. FACE FOR DISTANCE 60x Carbon Twist Face™ is a technological cornerstone that provides weight savings, exceptional ball speed and more durability compared to a titanium face. ADJUSTABLE PERFORMANCE The 4° loft sleeve can be used to adjust the loft angle, reach and face for optimized flight. PROVEN TOUR TECHNOLOGY The new and improved Speed Pocket™ cutting edge protects ball speed and reduces spin on low face shots. Advanced CAD modeling creates a design with a clean and powerful sound, a foundation of TaylorMade driver performance. Multi-material construction allows engineers to strategically place mass in areas of the head where it maximizes performance, speed and stability.

Project X Titan Black Wood Shaft
You can only evolve so many times. Then you have to reinvent. Designed and engineered in our R&D lab in San Diego, CA, the Titan Black is built to meet the demands of today’s fastest and most aggressive swingers. A more elastic section of the handle gradually tapers in the middle and tip, giving a smooth feel with added stability where it matters most. Synex technology uses multi-axial carbon fiber to reinforce the outer structure of the shaft, increasing the stiffness of the circle from the handle to the mid-section for efficient power transfer and improved control. Blending feel and stability, the Titan Black gives players the confidence to move faster without sacrificing dispersion or stability.

TaylorMade Qi4D Tour Custom Fairway Wood
MATERIAL ADVANCED Advanced multi-material construction combines the most effective engineering techniques with the best materials to create one of our longest-running weight-bearing roads. The Titanium Qi4D Tour fairway is designed for golfers looking for the ultimate weapon to conquer long par 5s and pin tighter shots. REGULAR PERFORMANCE The use of three Trajectory Adjustment System weights (15g x 1 / 4g x 2) provides the golfer with the most mass efficient way to adjust the shape and spin of the shot. The 4° loft sleeve can be used to adjust the loft angle, reach and face for optimized flight. CG OPTIMIZATION Engineers were able to improve launch without adding spin due to the use of a very light titanium body and advanced CAD model simulations. This result is a fairway that is easy to launch with incredible distance from each lie. A large 60 ge tungsten mass pad moves the center of gravity extremely low and forward, creating a hot trajectory for more distance. PROVEN TOUR TECHNOLOGIES The new and improved Speed Pocket™ upper cut protects ball speed and reduces spin on low face shots. Advanced CAD modeling creates a design with a clean, powerful sound, a foundation of TaylorMade’s fairway performance. Twist Face™ features corrective face curvature designed to ensure straighter shots on the gums.
