The journeys of Kohli and Williamson have been closely intertwined since their appearances at the 2008 U-19 World Cup. Over the next decade and beyond, both became pillars of world cricket and became known as members of the famous ‘Fab Four’ along with two other great batsmen of the modern era.
While often on opposing sides in high-pressure competitions, the respect between the pair was evident on and off the pitch. Their contrasting personalities and quiet professionalism made them admired figures in the global cricket community, with fans often praising the sportsmanship they displayed throughout their careers.
Williamson leaves behind a remarkable legacy
