Now as the world’s best players head to Long Island for the 2026 US Open, one pressing question is this: will Shinnecock Hills add to the legacy of a large multiple winner (Scottie Scheffler is competing to complete the career Grand Slam), or will he make history for the first time with his first major triumph?
Whatever happens, golf fans who aren’t lucky enough to attend in person will be able to watch almost all of the competition from the comfort of their homes.
Television coverage for the 2026 US Open will be provided by NBC, USA and NBCSN. USA will provide early television coverage on Thursday, as well as early coverage on Saturday. NBCSN will include late coverage on Thursday and early coverage on Friday. NBC will air Friday’s second round, as well as primetime television coverage on Saturday and Sunday.
US Open 2026 broadcast coverage will be available via peacock, USOpen.com and the USGA application. Peacock will provide simulcasts of NBC and NBCSN television coverage, in addition to band-presented coverage throughout the tournament.
