Toprak Razgatlioglu revealed a new set-up plan for the Catalan Grand Prix.
Razgatlioglu has now decided to adapt himself to the Quatararo event at the Catalan GP next weekend. He has explored his own direction up to this point.
“I’m running a different event than the other riders,” he said. “We’ll try something close to Fabio’s setup in Barcelona. You need a bike that turns well there. Also, the track has very little grip.”
Despite his lack of experience in Grand Prix racing, Razgatlioglu held his own in the first months of the season. He added in the same media briefing that he was still not entirely comfortable with his riding position on the M1.
He also said that he struggles with full fuel and fresh tires at the start of the race, but tends to come alive when the bike gets lighter and starts to slip.
Razgatlioglu heads to Barcelona 20th in the championship, between Quatararo factory team-mate Alex Rins and Pramac partner Jack Miller.
