Bugatti is a legendary French sports car brand. Honma considers itself a premium Japanese golf and lifestyle company.
Do you say we put these two crazy kids together and see what happens?
Yes friends, we have a new collaboration with the sports car golf company to show you today. But this Honma x Bugatti limited edition it’s very different to what McLaren is doing. While McLaren is starting its own Golf brand from the ground up, Honma and Bugatti are simply using each other to offer a curated collection of gadgets.

It’s no McLaren, but it sure is sporty. Just dig what the press release says:
“This extraordinary creation seamlessly marries ultimate craftsmanship with sporting grace, redefining the boundaries of luxury performance.”
This statement says a lot. That said, if you’re easily offended by significant price tags, you’ll probably want to skip the rest of this article.
It won’t make you happy.
On the other hand, if you’re confident in your personality and not threatened by things you might not be able to handle, by all means read on. It’s interesting to see and it doesn’t cost you anything to read about them.

Honma x Bugatti Collection: “Ultimate Mastery”
Honma’s press release tells us that the two brands “share a relentless pursuit of the perfect marriage of art and technology.”
This is a beautiful language, but it is also technically correct. Want to drop $4 million on a sports car? Bugatti should be high on your list. Want to drop $60,000 on a set of gold-plated golf clubs? Honma’s Beres line is your baby. Together, they give you the Honma x Bugatti collection.
I’m sure you can see where this is going.

The first is Honma World Tour Premium Collection. The line is based on the current line of Honma Tour World TW777 metal irons and woods, with a unique Bugatti flair.
We have given you details of TW777 already but the short version says that the set includes Honma’s most advanced driver to date, with a titanium-carbon composite body. It also includes fairway woods, hybrids (which Honma calls UT clubs), as well as Honma’s precision CNC forged irons and several wedges, a barrel, a bag, and Bugatti head covers. The kit is a relative bargain at $6,500.
Beres Super Premium Collection
While the World Tour collection is meant to be played, Honma says the Beres Super Premium collection is “heirloom” worthy. The Super Premium Collection is offered in Bere’s signature 3-Star, 4-Star and 5-Star packages, depending on the gold value.
If you find yourself wanting the 5 star line, better go for it. Honma is producing only 20 sets for worldwide distribution.

According to Honma, the Super Premium collection combines “Bere’s artistry with design principles taken from the Bugatti Tourbillon.” The Tourbillon is Bugatti’s high-end hypercar and is considered one of the most advanced, fastest and most expensive cars in the world.
In case you were wondering, the Tourbillon starts at just over $4 million.
Also in case you were wondering, the Beres 3-Star Super Premium Collection retails for $12,500. The 4-star pack retails for $25,000, while the 5-star pack, all 20 of them, will cost $72,000 each.

Which, for the record, includes the Bugatti Super Premium putter. Its shape is taken from the rear profile of the Tourbillon, while Bugatti’s single tachometer hints. And just because I could never write something so poetic, I want to share this beautiful piece of prose from the press release:
“More than just a barrel, this is an expertly crafted piece that perfectly marries function with sensitivity – making every shot on the green as precise and crisp as a Bugatti car carving through a corner.”
Well, I like this kind of talk.
The 4-star version is sold separately for $3,200. 5 Stars costs $9,600.

Wait, how much is it?
Yes, it’s a lot.
Is it funny? Almost certainly. WILL Honma for sale? Also almost certainly.
Look, friends, these offers aren’t for the likes of you or me (assuming, of course, that I’m in your tax bracket). They are also not designed for people looking for the perfect golf equipment to help optimize their games. Collections like these are made for people who can shake that kind of cash out of their couch cushions.
And there are more of those people out there than you think.

If you’re getting ready to hit the comments section saying that this collection is for people with more money than brains, I’d say that’s totally correct. Don’t take this to mean that people with this kind of money have no brains. They can have a ton of brains. Only they have even more money.
In the big picture, the existence of this kind of collection does not matter an iota or a tittle to us ordinary people. The ultra-rich, those for whom these prices are relative change, are different. They can spend their money however they want.
So my advice is to be outraged if you must, but remember it’s just golf equipment. It might be out of reach for most of us, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun watching it.

If you are in this tax bracket, please note that the Honma x Bugatti is on sale now at Honma website and through authorized Honma dealers.
Also if you are in this tax bracket please feel free to invite me to your club for a round. I would love to see these babies in person.
