Haro told Nicoabad TV through a reporter. Ruben CanalesI know Viñales very well, and I think he is a very good rider. But he won the Moto3 World Championship, and it was already clear he wasn’t going to win another. He didn’t want to beat the other guy in his situation. He has a rather complicated personality.

“He’s a rider with all the tools: he’s won at Suzuki, Yamaha and Aprilia… he’s great, but he’s not a rider to win the MotoGP World Championship.

“For me, psychologically, he’s not ready, and I’m disappointed that he’s without a seat, but at the end of the day, there are riders who are very comfortable in their positions… Also, it’s hard to tell Jack Miller — or Binder or Rins — that their time is up. But how many years have they been in MotoGP?”

Looking ahead, it has been suggested that a contract extension with Tech 3 is still possible, but Vinales recently admitted that he has no idea whether he will be on the MotoGP grid next year.

Meanwhile, the expected line-up of the KTM factory team for 2027 has been set with Alex Marquez and DiGianantonio.
