Sevilla, the 100m world champion, will participate in the London Diamond League

Line-ups continue to go from strength to strength for the big event in the UK capital on 18th July.

World 100m champion Theke Sevilla of Jamaica will compete at the Novuna London Athletics Meet on Saturday 18 July.

The 25-year-old’s 9.77 to win at Tokyo 2025, the first Jamaican to win the 100m at the World Championships since Usain Bolt in 2015, ranks 10th on the world all-time list.

In his build-up to world gold, he dominated the London 2025 Diamond League 100m field and was the only man to break ten seconds on the day (9.86). He also played a part in Jamaica’s 4x100m victory over hosts Great Britain.

On May 30, Sevilla opened their 2026 season with an under 10 clock (9.96) at the National Stadium in Kingston.
