Matt Oxley says Pedro Acosta believes in Marc Marquez because he knows KTM can’t beat Ducati.
Speaking on Oxley good podcast, Matt Oxley Pedro Acosta said he couldn’t beat Marc Marquez in their battle at the Hungarian Grand Prix, and he knew it before he left.
Oxley also predicted that the two will be team-mates at Ducati next season and their battle will intensify.
“The thing is, we say they’re doing it respectfully, but they know Acosta’s not on the best[bike]. He’s technically flawed, Mark knows he’s technically superior.
“I think they might be less friendly once they’re on the same bike. You know what I mean? Acosta knows he’s going to lose by now. The bike isn’t good enough to beat Marquez.”
“So he’s bringing a knife to the shooting because he knows he’s not going to fight with the same weapon. I think once you’re on the same bike, it’s going to be a little spicy.”
