On social media platform Reddit, MotoGP fans are debating who they think is the most exciting rider to watch on a race weekend. Acosta’s name came up in most of the responses.

“Acosta is a really exciting rider on the grid, and if KTM had worked together, he would have led the championship,” he commented.

Another user shared the same sentiment, “He’s definitely one of the most amazing riders out there, and he’d obviously be somewhere else if it wasn’t for KTM. It’s just fun to watch him ride.”
One particular fan opined, “If Acosta was on a Ducati or an Aprilia, he would have won this year’s championship.”
Of course, there was some objection to Acosta not yet making the trip to the top of the podium in the premier class.
But, in terms of pure skill, one fan insisted the Murcian native was genuine, commenting: “It’s about driving ability, not statistics.”
Another one-time top-flight Marquez believes that if he calls it a day on his time in MotoGP, the weight of the premier class will rest on Acosta’s shoulders. “When Mark is gone, he brings the entertainment,” they said.
It’s not just his talent that has caught the eye of fans. One recent fan said: “The most interesting thing about Pedro, apart from his obvious talent, is his attitude. He doesn’t seem too happy about his suffering, and he’s for breakfast.”

The only hiccup in the Spaniard’s impressive start to his MotoGP career is that he is yet to find a Grand Prix win to his name in the category. Of course, to be one of the best drivers on the grid, you need to let the results do the talking.
He has come close strongly on several occasions, the recent Catalan Grand Prix being a prime example of that. Acosta led most of the race marred by gruesome crashes and red flag periods.
It was a great performance, which unfortunately resulted in his exit from the Grand Prix due to a great move from Ai Ogura in the final corner of the circuit.
The Spaniard dropped to P4 in the final lap of the race after KTM’s sub-optimal tire wear was exposed in the final stages of Sunday’s Grand Prix. It was a tough pill to swallow for the 21-year-old, as his quest for girl victory continues.
