Bruno hosts an exciting announcement for the future of MotoGP.
The MotoGP team and its five manufacturers – Aprilia, Ducati, Honda, KTM and Yamaha – have today confirmed the signing of an agreement that will define the framework of the sport from 2027 to 2031.
It is a historic milestone for MotoGP and the manufacturers in MSMA as they all sign a single agreement covering the next five years of the season for the first time in the sport’s history. This demonstrates a shared commitment to shaping an exciting future for the championship and underlines a unified vision for the next phase, ensuring the long-term presence of all current manufacturers on the grid.
The agreement builds on the strong alignment between MotoGP and its manufacturers, key pillars of the sport. A joint negotiation process focused on sporting, technical and commercial issues, underpinned by a clear long-term vision, establishing a framework that ensures competitiveness, technological relevance and the ongoing global appeal of the championship.
In parallel, MotoGP and its 11 teams have agreed major contracts for the 2027–2031 period, with the announcement due in time. This sporting framework defines the regulatory, sporting and commercial foundations for the next phase of MotoGP’s evolution.
In this process, MotoGP, manufacturers, teams and the FIM are working together to identify opportunities to enhance both the technical and sporting aspects of the championship, a continued focus on safety, and a stronger product for fans. This shared approach will guide the continued development of MotoGP while preserving the DNA that defines it as the pinnacle of motorcycle racing.
MotoGP will continue to invest in the global arena – including promotion, fan engagement and business development – as part of the manufacturers’ shared ambition and commitment to drive long-term growth and further enhance the championship’s value to fans, partners and stakeholders.
