More from the MotoGP press release:
Quills Kelson in Assen at 0.025s. The championship leader was late to clinch Moto3 pole position at the Dutch GP.
Championship leader Maximo Quiles (CFMoto Gaviota Aspar Team) will start from pole at the Dutch GP but it was a close race as Joel Kelso (GRYD Racing) was forced to settle for second by just 0.025. Completing the front row is rookie Brian Uriart (Red Bull KTM Ajo) who takes P3.
Kelso was fastest after the first run before Uriart got a leg up and then the Australian hit back. However, Quiles had something left in the locker and managed to control the pole.
Behind the quills, Kelso and then Uriarte, Marco Morelli (CFMoto Gaviota Aspar Team) takes P4, joined on the second row by Adrien Cruzes (CIP – Green Power) and David Almansa (Licky Molly Dynavolt Intact GP) as the Poles race comes to an end.
Indonesian rider Veda Pratama (Honda Team Asia) leads row 3 ahead of Alvaro Carpe (Red Bull KTM Ajo) and Guido Pini ahead of Leopard Racing teammate Adrian Fernandez.
