More from the MotoGP press release:
Guevara was fastest on Friday as Alonso faced Q1 in France. On the opening day of Le Mans, Boscoscuro was 1-2, with five splits below tenth.
A quick and very early 1:34.348 from Izan Guevara (BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2) saw the Spaniard top the Moto2 time sheets in a highly competitive Friday. Boscoscuro started the weekend 1-2, 0.002 seconds off P1 in second place in Barry Bates (REDS Fantic Racing). 0.003s off the top three – we get a bit more than that all weekend.
Fourth place went the way of Ivan Ortola (QJMOTOR – El Motorista – MSI), the Spaniard 0.044s off the top spot, with compatriot Alonso Lopez (ITALJET Gresini Moto2) just 0.088s behind in P5.
It was a good day for Daniel Holgado (CFMOTO Inde Aspar Team) after a disappointing weekend in Austin and Jerez, the former championship leader was one tenth more than P1 in P6, but on the other side of the box, Friday was not what David Alonso wanted. The Colombian finished P18 in practice, 0.664s down on Guevara, and was never out of the top 14 in the session. Work to do in France for #80.
The world championship’s top two, Manuel González and Liqui Molly Dynavolt Intact GP partner Senna Agius, finished in P8 and P9 on Friday. It’s done in terms of going into Q2.
Tune in to Moto2 qualifying on Saturday at 13:40!
