Barry Baltus was fastest in Moto2 World Championship Free Trial One (FP1) on Friday morning at the Cercio de Jerez – Angel Nieto, Spain. Riding his REDS Fantic Racing Kalex on Pirelli control wheels, the Belgian rider covered the 2.75-mile (4.42 km) track in 1:39.525 to lead the field of 28 riders.
Celestino VTT was the best of the rest with his Beta equipment SpeedRS Team Boscoscuro winning 1:39.555.
Senna Agius was third fastest in a Liqui Moly Dynavolt InactGP Kalex in 1:39.611.
American Joe Roberts finished the opening session in 20th with a 1:40.307 in his OnlyFans American Racing Team Kalex.
