on sunday, Matt Fitzpatrick earned his fourth career PGA Tour win – and the second RBC Heritage title – in Harbor citybeating world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler in a playoff.
With the win, Fitzpatrick joins Chris Gotterup as the only players with two wins so far this PGA Tour season. Fitzpatrick has also climbed to No. 3 in the world, behind only Scheffler and Rory McIlroy.
“Obviously the safety is high right now,” Fitzpatrick said in the wake of his win. “Obviously the ball is going where I intend it to go.
“I know there are still areas I want to improve on,” he continued. “I know it’s cliché, but I know there are things that can still be improved in certain areas. So it’s definitely exciting, given the results I’ve had so far and what’s to come.”

In terms of equipment, at least one thing has remained consistent for Fitzpatrick during his lead in the rankings, and that is his Skechers shoes. Fitzpatrick became a Skechers brand ambassador in 2022 and has been wearing Blade Tour SIwhich he and fellow Skechers ambassador Max Greyserman helped design.
Fitzpatrick is currently sporting a limited-edition Augusta-inspired colorway on the waterproof shoe.
Perhaps the most compelling selling point for the Blade Tour SI, however, is its slick construction. These shoes can be put on hands-free (!) while standing, thanks to the Skechers “Heel Pillow” innovation, which protects the Achilles and keeps your foot securely in place.
This spiked Blade Tour SI offers extra comfort through an Arch Fit sockliner, lightweight ECO FLIGHT wrap and responsive HYPER BURST PRO sockliner.
