In October 2023, then-up-and-coming contender Keyshawn Davis entered the ring for an up-and-coming fight against Nahir Albright. In the opening round of the fight, Albright took advantage of his finesse and changed levels with the jab.

Over the course of the opening round, Davis was able to connect with timely right hands. For the next few rounds, Keyshawn Davis established the streak, and as a result, he began landing his combinations.

Halfway through the 10-round contest, Davis was in complete control as he consistently landed his counter shots. During the last three rounds of the fight, Albright experienced success connecting with the right hand.

Albright was very aggressive as he hurt Davis in the second and fourth rounds. Albright set the pace of the fight, and he won convincingly.

After the fight ended, Keyshawn and his younger brother Keon Albright jumped backstage. According to Albright, the Davis brothers entered his locker room, and Keyshawn headbutted him, leaving a lump over his right eye.

As a result of the incident, police escorted Keyshawn Davis from the arena. Initially, Davis was supposed to headline the event, but he weighed in at 4.3 pounds over the weight limit and was stripped of his WBO world title.

After going through the embarrassing incident, Keyshawn Davis redeemed himself in January 2026 when he dominated Jamaine Ortiz. Now Davis is ready to take care of some unfinished business on Saturday night.

Keyshawn “The Businessman” Davis didn’t look professional Friday afternoon when he weighed in at 140.2 pounds. Stripped down to the bare essentials, Davis weighed 140.1 pounds.

After the second failed attempt, Davis was given two hours to make the 140-pound limit. A short time later, Davis returned to the scale and weighed in at an even 140 pounds.
