George Martin has said he never considered retiring from F1 after the Qatar GP crash.

“Retirement was never on my mind. If that thought crossed my mind, it was because I couldn’t ride a bike anymore, not because I wanted to retire. I never wanted to do it, I never thought about 2025, and I’m back here. Well, I’m not exactly back, because I never quit.
“Everything I did to survive and come back is because[MotoGP]is the meaning of my life. I was born a rider, I became a rider, and I never gave up when I faced obstacles.”
“On the contrary, I was trying to overcome everything. Ever since I entered the hospital, I always thought about overcoming it. It was clear that at some point in my life this would end.”
But now I think I have many, many years left and if it happens again I will do everything. I go back to riding motorcycles and feel the adrenaline rush as I go out on my bike every day.
